Simon Henry Leaves Capital.com, Joins Exinity as Compliance Director

Finance Magnates has learned that Simon Henry has joined Exinity as  Compliance  Director after working for over one year at Capital.com. According to an update via LinkedIn, he left the company three weeks ago as of press time.

Henry will be based in London, United Kingdom, holding also the same role he had during his tenure at Capital.com. Prior to joining the broker, he worked for City Credit Capital as Compliance Manager between 2019 and 2021.

Also, he was employed by Stater Global Markets as Head of Compliance and MLRO between 2018 and 2019. He was an Interim Head of Compliance at Capital Index as well during a short tenure of five months in 2018.

Henry has an extensive career of over 20 years working in the compliance field for the financial markets industry, as he was employed by London Capital Group between 2016 and 2017 as Compliance Director and MLRO. Having the same role, Henry worked for LMAX  Exchange  .

Moreover, he worked in the same role for ETX Capital between 2014 and 2014 and for GAIN Capital between 2011 and 2014. He was also an Interim Senior Analyst and Manager for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Henry started his professional career in 1997 as Senior Foreign Exchange Settlements Administrator for AMP. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is a fellow of the International Compliance Association.

Recently, Capital.com appointed financial industry veteran, Christopher Brankin as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of its Singapore business. He will officially join Capital.com’s management in August, replacing Chul Lim, who was hired as the Asia CEO last September.

The hiring came when Capital.com had been aggressively adding executives in the Asia Pacific. Most recently, the broker hired Angela Shi as the APAC CFO, following the hiring of Laura Lin as the APAC CEO last September.
