The VPUs are “poised to drastically enhance the velocity and value of operating superior cryptographic workloads, in comparison with CPUs, GPUs and fixed-function cryptography,” in response to the press launch. They “will do for cryptography what Nvidia’s GPUs and plenty of different startups’ chips are doing for AI.”
