Scope Markets Promotes Daniel Clark to Head of Partnerships

by Jeremy

Scope Markets, the forex and CFDs broker owned by Rostro Group, has promoted Daniel Mackenzie Clark as the Head of Partnerships, which has already come into effect. He was previously a part of the broker’s institutional sales team.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head Of Partnerships at Scope Markets!” Clark wrote on a Linkedin post.

He joined Scope Markets in February 2019 and is based in London.

Clark has extensive experience in the financial services markets. He describes himself as skilled in  forex  ,  equities  , trading systems and financial markets. Indeed, he worked with several other brokerages over his decade-long career.

He joined Scope Markets from London-based Capital Index, where he was also a part of the institutional sales team for short six months.

Before that, he was with GKFX, the retail brokerage operated by Global Kapital Group. There, he spent four years in roles around derivatives sales, e-FX trade operations and institutional sales. He also worked at Prime Wealth Group and Halo Financial.

A Global Brand

Scope Markets operates globally with licenses obtained from several regulators, including the ones in Cyprus, Belize, and Mauritius. It also has a prominent presence in Africa as it is regulated in South Africa and is one of the very few regulated brokerage platforms in Kenya, which is considered to be one of Africa’s major untapped markets.

The brokerage brand was acquired by Roger Hambury’s Rostro Group earlier this year in an all-cash deal. However, neither of the companies disclosed the financial terms. It was also very strategic as the services of Rostro and Scope were complementary to each other with little operational and market overlap.
