Kevin O’Leary: “ETH Is My Biggest Holding But I’m Skeptical Of The Merge”
Although Ethereum is well behind Bitcoin as the largest cryptocurrency, as measured by market capitalization, the second largest cryptocurrency has been making most of the headlines as of late. The much-anticipated merge has many believing that Ethereum can take the next step and flip Bitcoin. At the time of writing, Ethereum is a shade under $2000, trading for $1,986.65, up 17% in the past 7 days. Famed Investor Kevin O’Leary revealed that as of now, Ethereum is his largest play, but he’s still skeptical about the merge. O’Leary isn’t sure if the merge will occur on schedule despite Ethereum’s final testnet being successful, making the merge complete, at least in theory. Kevin believes that long-term, Ethereum is a great play but in the shorter term, many of his sovereign wealth and hedge fund clients are ready to allocate their capital to Bitcoin. But of course, none of this happens without regulation.
