Yury Orekhov, Artem Uss, Svetlana Kuzurgasheva, also called “Lana Neumann,” Timofey Telegin and Sergey Tulyakov are being charged with trying to evade sanctions towards Venezuelan oil producers and acquiring know-how used within the U.S. F-22, an air superiority fighter. The defendants allegedly used shell corporations and cryptocurrencies to launder the funds concerned on this scheme, although a Division of Justice press launch didn’t specify the quantities or sorts of cryptocurrency used.
