Finance Magnates has learned that Andrew Richards has been appointed Head of Prime Brokerage at ROSTRO Financial Group. According to an update on LinkedIn, he will be based in London, working for the company.
Prior to joining ROSTRO Financial Group, Richards was Head of Prime Brokerage Sales and Director of Primes Services Sales at BCS Global Markets for three years between 2019 and 2022. Moreover, he worked as Global Securities Finance Director at ING between 2018 and 2019.
The executive had an extensive tenure at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was employed for over 10 years as Vice President of Account Management. Before his career at the US bank, he worked as ETD Account Manager for UBS Investment Bank.
According to his educational background, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of the West of England. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Prime Brokerage at ROSTRO Financial Group,” he commented via LinkedIn.
