Arun Lakhani, an industry veteran with broad experience in the FX market, recently announced that he has joined BidX Markets as Operations Manager. The announcement from Lakhnai came a few days after he confirmed his departure from Equiti Capital where he worked for almost two years as Partner Solutions Manager.
Prior to joining Equiti Capital, Lakhani was part of Gold-i. In his tenure of more than five years at the company, Lakhani worked as the Business Development Manager for more than one year. He also served in different positions at Gold-i, including Senior Support Engineer and Technical Support Engineer.
In his career, Lakhani worked with Surrey Police as IT Technical Specialist (Applications). During his time with Surrey Police, he also worked as IT Technical Practitioner (Applications).
In his new role, Lakhani is planning to facilitate the operations of BidX Markets. In an official post on LinkedIn, he expressed his excitement for the new position and also received wishes from other FX industry executives.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Operations Manager at BidX Markets,” Lakhani said.
Executive Moves in FX
The FX market witnessed major executive moves in the past week. Capital.com recently hired Angela Shi as the Chief Financial Officer for APAC. Shahid Khan, former Senior Retail Banking Executive at Emirates NBD, joined CAPEX.com as Relationship Manager last week. Dewi Walters, who has been working with the IG Group for the last seven years, recently became Head of Reward at the company.
