Base challenge RocketSwap Labs has outlined its emergency programme to bounce again from a brute pressure hack which swiped $865,000 or 471 Ether (ETH) from the protocol on Aug. 14.
The staff defined on Aug. 15 that they plan on redeploying a brand new farm contract and open-source it on-chain, relinquish minting rights — presumably of RCKT — and can quickly name on the hackers to return the belongings, amongst different issues:

On Aug. 14, a hacker stole roughly 471 ETH and bridged it from Base to Ethereum, in accordance to blockchain safety agency PeckShield.
The exploiter then created the 90 trillion “LoveRCKT” tokens and transferred them over to Uniswap together with 400 ETH, it defined.

The information was confirmed by RocketSwap Labs on Aug. 14 at 11:06 UTC, with PeckShield and fellow blockchain safety agency CertiK offering extra particulars in regards to the exploit just a few hours later.

RocketSwap Labs stated attributed the exploit to a brute pressure assault on the protocol’s server:
“A brute pressure hack of the server was detected, and because of the proxy contract used for the farm contract, there have been a number of high-risk permissions that led to the switch of the farm’s belongings. We shut down the farm to stop additional harm.”
