Via Blackbird, which is constructed on Coinbase’s Layer-2 Base blockchain, clients faucet their telephone on a close to area communication (NFC) reader (the units which permit smartphones to connect with fee readers) and create a non-fungible token (NFT) membership. The NFT is then minted when customers “faucet in” to the restaurant.
