Former BitMEX CEO Alexander Hoeptner has sued the cryptocurrency derivatives platform for $3.4 million for breach of contract and wrongful termination. Hoeptner joined the Seychelles-registered trade in January 2021 at a time when high officers at HDR World Buying and selling Restricted, the proprietor and operator of BitMEX, have been embroiled in a lawsuit that accused the founders of facilitating unregistered buying and selling. It was beforehand reported that Hoeptner left the corporate in October 2022, with out additional particulars. Hoeptner now claims that he acquired a letter of termination citing misuse of funds and failure to carry out duties, amongst different issues.
