Many DAOs say that decentralization, broadly, is the top objective and, because of this, conflates “system decentralization” with “organizational decentralization.” The previous refers back to the technological methods DAOs are constructed on and use, and the latter would come with the DAO’s social and cultural attributes. System decentralization ought to be relentlessly pursued whereas organizational decentralization ought to be approached with warning.
