“Distributed ledger expertise suffers with some actual challenges on scalability,” Cunliffe stated, with any system needing to be safe and quick. “On the retail facet of it, we put in 30,000 transactions per second as a base case, going to 100,000. I do not suppose you’ll find any distributed ledger expertise that will get remotely near that.”
