Eun Younger Choi, director of the Nationwide Cryptocurrency Enforcement Staff (NCET), mentioned the DOJ is focusing on crypto exchanges that enable “prison actors to simply revenue from their crimes and money out,” as a way of combating crypto crime which she mentioned has grown “considerably” within the final 4 years.
