Everyone Is SO WRONG About These Crypto Protocols | Michael Saylor
In an interview with ‘The Money Movement’ Podcast, CEO of Microstrategy Michael Saylor discussed the importance of conservatism within the networks in cryptocurrency. In Saylor’s view, once a cryptocurrency starts pushing a ‘hard fork’ or starts ‘changing code’, it becomes an integrity problem because the goal post moved for those who have already bought in. Saylor’s comments come right on queue, as Ethereum CEO Vitalik Buterin recently shared his vision for what’s coming for Ethereum. The Ethereum merge is scheduled for September 2022, which caused a run-up in Ethereum’s price, which is currently trading at $1,713.42, up 8.3% in the past 7 days, and up 43.8% in the past 14 days. Buterin stated that 55% of Ethereum will be complete after the merge, which makes the case for Saylor’s views that the change in protocol is a cheap shortcut for improving the crypto.
