Greg Foss: “They Are Prepared To Do Anything To Stop Bitcoin”
In an interview with Blockware Intelligence, trader and native Canadian Greg Foss gave his candid thoughts on the outlook on Bitcoin. In the long-term, Foss believes Bitcoin will win out, but in the short term, he believes that the powers that want to stop Bitcoin at all cost, including his own Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Foss, a former ‘junk’ credit trader, broke down the numbers for the major powerhouse nations and explained that if a corporation had the same financials as the United States, it would be rated Triple C. Foss is referring to the corporate credit rating structure in which ratings are issued by rating agencies and help investors determine the riskiness associated with investing in a corporate bond. Triple AAA is the highest rank and most creditworthy. With the USA and other sovereign nations showing poor financial balance sheets, Foss believes Bitcoin is a hedge and solution to combat what is coming and what coming in Foss’s view, is that top-tier nations will default. While Foss believes Bitcoin is the obvious answer, he also believes this will be an uphill battle for bitcoin, as many powerful players will fight tooth and nail to prevent any change in the status quo.
