The developer behind the Mutant Ape Planet non-fungible token (NFT) assortment – a knockoff of the Mutant Ape Yacht Membership NFTs – pleaded responsible on Tuesday to defrauding consumers in a rug pull that netted virtually $3 million, in response to the U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ).
