In a clandestine six-month operation, the Central Financial institution of the Netherlands relocated 86 tons of gold, valued at over $5 billion, from the Federal Reserve’s vault. This strategic transfer, geared toward enhancing geopolitical unrest and disaster preparedness, has considerably lowered the Netherlands’ gold holdings in New York from 31% to 18%.
