Scammers create spoof Blockworks website to empty crypto wallets

Phishing scammers have cloned the web sites of crypto media outlet Blockworks and Ethereum blockchain scanner Etherscan to trick unsuspecting readers into interacting with a phishing website.

A cloned Blockworks website shows a faux “BREAKING” information report of a supposed multimillion-dollar “approvals exploit” on the decentralized trade Uniswap and encourages customers to a faked Etherscan web site to rescind approvals.
