The U.S. Securities and Alternate Fee (SEC) has not accredited any spot bitcoin ETF purposes as of Tuesday afternoon, regardless of a tweet from the regulator’s X (previously Twitter) account saying they’d been, the company’s chair, Gary Gensler, stated.
